i had cut this car in half thinking i would have time money and engery to find another half and weld it back together

...I'm not understanding something here. Why do that? Did they think the rear part of the SHO car was more than just the bumper? Why saw it in half just to weld it to another identical half?

I have to assume the back was wrecked, but since he doesn't mention it, it does sound like he cut it in half to save on storage space or somethign nuts like that

I think truly, we can just be glad he didnt find another half to just weld together, likely the outcome would have been a hazard to us all

Finding another half would mean confirmation of at least one other person who thinks as he does. Earth does not need more than one person who sees this kind of thinking as reasonable....
